Meriden Housing Authority Resident Services Programming<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Meriden Housing Authority has a long history of providing resident services, and case management services through its \u2018FSS Program<\/a>\u2019, to persons living in MHA housing.\u00a0 All tenants of MHA hold leases for their individual apartments.\u00a0 Services are not a condition of tenancy, however, offered to all tenants at each MHA property.\u00a0 MHA offers the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Affordability<\/strong> \u2013 As a local housing authority, MHA offers public housing programs and Section 8 vouchers to eligible households with less than 25% AMI.<\/li>\n
  2. Resident and Supportive Housing Services<\/strong> \u2013 MHA provides resident and supportive housing services to individuals and families throughout its properties.<\/li>\n
  3. Tenant Selection<\/strong> Plan<\/strong> \u2013 Meriden Housing Authority has a specific tenant selection plan for each property. Each plan identifies the criteria applicants are approved or denied for housing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    MHA Programming won National Awards for innovativeness and excellence in resident services in 1997, 2001 and 2002.\u00a0 Numerous local awards have been received for community service, educational initiatives and for successful efforts in computer training.<\/p>\n
