Leased Housing\u00a0currently administers 611 Housing Choice Vouchers and is designed to administer Housing Assistance Payments to landlords on behalf of eligible participants in the private sector who are currently voucher holders.\u00a0 The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Housing Authority adheres to rules and regulations mandated by HUD to run this program successfully.<\/p>\n

The Leased Housing Department also administers the Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS) and Homeownership Program eligible to\u00a0Housing Choice Voucher\u00a0participants.<\/p>\n
