Congratulations To Our Newest Homeowner!

Home Sweet Home Pic

Johanna recently purchased a new home for her and her family through the Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) Home Buyer Program.

Johanna took the initiative to work on her goals to achieve the dream and desire she had for her family to give them stability and place to call “home”. The FSS Program offers advice and credit and home buyer counseling to their participants to help them move ahead.  Johanna is the 16th homeowner in the FSS Home Buyer Program. Join us in wishing Johanna and her family many happy memories, and much success as their future moves forward.

MHA launches new Website!

Welcome! You are viewing the beta version of our new website. This site was created to give you greater and more immediate access to all the exciting things going on at the Meriden Housing Authority. From the construction of our new building at 24 Colony Street, to our Choice Neighborhoods Grant, to the Green rehabilitation of our Yale Acres development, there has never been more positive things going on in our agency and the City of Meriden and this site is your conduit to it all. Although there are plenty of great things to report, this site is not designed to be all fluff. Important information for our residents, contractors and partners will be available here to make living and working with us a whole lot more efficient and enjoyable.  So fasten your seatbelts as we merge onto the information superhighway. It may be a bit bumpy at first, but it’s going to be a great ride!
